Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party service that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information in that message, which is used to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting systems create routine server logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps keep the service working and shows which material is used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, troubleshooting, aggregate traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The privacy policy of that outside service controls information submitted there. This includes sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the service process its server logs. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed only when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for as long as the stated purposes require. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not maintain a visitor password or profile to expose.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website retains. Because this service keeps very little, a request generally involves checking the contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing applicable information. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Ohio state, county, or city offices are outside our control and remain subject to the Ohio Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, and the relevant custodian’s procedures.
Policy Changes
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the revised policy.
